Meet Dwayne The Rock Johnson

Last winter, Dwayne was facing a heartbreaking fate. A fellow trapper had neutered him and planned to release him the next day even though he had bite wounds (meaning a 6-month quarantine was legally required), was covered in missing fur, had an upper respiratory infection, and was clearly starving and terrified. They said the cost was too much.
But we couldn't walk away. We stepped in, offered to take him in without any financial help, and gave him the care he desperately needed.
For six months, Dwayne stayed in quarantine, recovering physically and emotionally. He healed up, gained weight, and once he was in the clear, we could finally get to know the real him.
And let us tell you the real Dwayne? He's a total LOVEBUG.
He started shy, cautious, and quiet but over time, he realized being indoors isn't just safe it's awesome. Now? Dwayne has discovered how fun toys are, how cozy laps can be, and how silly it feels to just play without a care in the world. He doesn't even mind who's watching he's having a great time and living his best life!
This handsome guy is now incredibly affectionate honestly, he's kind of clingy (in the best way). He wants to be near his person, loves attention, and will happily snuggle the day away. He's gentle, sweet, and truly just wants to be loved.
Medical Notes:
Dwayne is neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and dewormed. He's had full labs done previously and will have updated pre-dental labs and a much-needed dental procedure, fully covered by the rescue.
