My Story
At just 3 years old, this beautiful white-coated pup is still learning to navigate the human world. She can be shy with new people at first, but with regular contact, gentle voices, and calm affection, she has made wonderful progress. She now seeks out pets and scratches and will even put her paws on your legs to show she is excited for a walk or a little extra attention.
Brisket loves being close to her people, sharing space, and enjoying the sense of safety that comes with a calm home. She is gentle and never aggressive. If someone reaches for her too quickly, she may spring away for a moment, then circle back once she feels comfortable again.
One thing Brisket loves most is other dogs. She truly shines around canine companions and would thrive in a home with a confident, playful dog who can help show her the ropes. Having a dog buddy helps her feel secure and brings out her happiest, silliest self. Whether she is wrestling in the yard, playing tug-of-war, or happily chewing on a bone, she remains gentle and non-aggressive.
Her favorite activities include playing and wrestling with other dogs, tug-of-war, toys, chewing on bones, curiously exploring her surroundings, and curling up in her den with a soft bed and soothing music.
Brisket also loves walks and happily lets you put on her leash. In the mornings, she jumps and runs with excitement when she knows it is time to head out. She walks well on leash, though squirrels definitely catch her attention. She remembers the trees where she has spotted them before and may give a little tug to investigate, but she responds well to a firm leash cue and the word "no."
This sweet girl has a wonderfully expressive face and a personality that shines through every curious head tilt. She is interested in the world around her and has an adorable habit of gently "borrowing" random items now and then-perhaps not ideal, but certainly charming.
Brisket is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let her blossom at her own pace. With kindness, consistency, and a dog friend by her side, she has every chance to grow into a truly special companion.
