Meet Deirdre, a beautiful 8-year-old German Shepherd girl with a heart full of love and a personality to match. This sweet girl thrives on companionship, whether it’s enjoying long walks or simply being by your side. Deirdre is incredibly treat motivated, making training a breeze! She already masters commands like "come," "sit," "down," and "shake." While she can be a bit of a puller on the leash, just saying “easy” helps her remember to slow down. An EZ walk front clip harness may make those strolls even smoother! Though Deirdre has a vocal side when she spots other dogs, don't let that deter you; she's eager to please and comes when called. She will benefit from continuous redirection training and positive reinforcement. Deirdre does not participate in shelter playgroups with other dogs but has met one social dog before; however, she did not engage much and is more of an independent spirit who might appreciate a calm canine companion in her new home, or thrive as an the only dog in the home.
