My Story

Meet Javi! Javi is a 4-year old male Pit mix who came to us as a stray from Greene County. Since he’s been with us, Javi has immediately been a staff favorite, covering everyone he meets in his slobbery kisses and spreading laughter all around from his silly antics. This goofy big hearted boy is described by our staff as a lovebug! Javi would make the absolute best cuddle buddy and is ready for Football Sunday’s and Hockley season. In a hotdog eating contest, our bet is on Javi! He truly captures the fun and and entertaining lifestyle of having a young playful pup, while also being a chill dude ready to watch sports and eat all the snackies. He would benefit from an adopter who is able to teach him basic training such as commands and leash manners (he’s very strong), while giving him lots of enrichment activities. If you’ve been searching for the bond of a lifetime, Javi is your guy! Javi would do well in a home with no children. We believe he would do well with feline housemates as he was a very good boy during his initial cat test. Javi can be dog selective, so if there are other dogs in the home, a dog introduction would be required. This dog is available for adoption at the Butler County Humane Society 1015 Evans City Rd Renfrew, PA 16053 Kennel License #1526 Intake Date: 8/22/2024 APPLY HERE: https://butlercountyhs.org/dog-adoption-application/
