Junie Bee

**Please read carefully before applying** The amazing Junie Bee is looking for a loving, experienced family who understands and appreciates the unique needs of deaf dog and is ready to commit to her care and happiness. Junie Bee is a 4 month-old mini bernedoodle and as a double merle she has impaired hearing. Unfortunately, double merle breeding often results in lifelong medical and behavioral challenges, although at this time her hearing is the only known issue. She currently weighs approximately 20 pounds. Despite her lack of hearing, Junie Bee is one of the sweetest, sassiest, and most confident puppies her foster family has cared for. She has so much personality and melts everyone's heart that she meets. She does great with dogs and would benefit from being in a family with a dog that she could bond with and take cues from. She also does well with kids and prefers respectful, dog-savvy kids that won't startle her, as she can't hear them approaching. She is in the puppy teething phase, but is easily redirected with a bone or stuffed toy. For her safety, a fenced in yard is a must for Junie Bee. Junie Bee is doing fantastic with potty training (expect some regression in new environments). She alerts to go outside and rarely has accidents inside. She is doing good with crate training but prefers to be out with her people. Her ideal situation would be a family that is home often. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines. Junie Bee is being foster in the Hershey area and potential adopters will need to be willing to come to this area with any current resident pups for a meet.
