Tempura: The Tiny Boss with a Big Heart!
"Hey there, future family! Meet Tempura, the littlest (but definitely not the least!) of the Japanese-food-named pups! At just 4.5 pounds and 3.5 months old, I'm a Dachshund mix with a personality that's crispy and full of flavor! (My siblings are Udon, Mochi, and Nori, by the way!)
I'm sweet, confident, sassy, and playful. I'm the tiny boss of this operation, and my siblings tend to follow my lead. I also enjoy my alone time, and I'm perfectly content to chill by myself sometimes. I'd be happy with a sibling or rocking the solo dog life! Also, I REALLY love my foster dad!
Housebroken? We're on it! I'm doing great with the training pads, and I'm getting the hang of going potty outside. Leash trained? We're working on it! I'm doing well with training, even if I do put up a little bit of a fight sometimes (hey, I'm a puppy!). Crate trained? Yes, I am!
I'm a big fan of kids - especially my foster mom's teenage daughter! I also get along swimmingly with other dogs, and I'm pretty indifferent to the cats in my foster home. I'm up-to-date on my shots (except for rabies, I'm still a bit too young for that) and microchipped. I'm not spayed yet, because I'm still a growing girl! My adoption fee is $500, with a $150 spay deposit required.
